Is that your macro at work again? If so, your work with this lens is already starting to shine. Of course, I am very partial to flowers, and buds, but if you had not indicated that this is a hyacinth, I never would have guessed. The texture, and sensual curves of the just-about-to-open petals, along with the narrow DOF make this a very compelling image. I thought it was one of those exotic (to my east coast sensibilities) desert plants you must have in Utah. You have inspired me to find some just opening buds of my own to capture.
