Creating Memories

One of the sayings I heard some time ago that has really stuck with me is “It’s all about creating the memories.” When it was told to me, it caused me to change some of my thinking. I have always cared about my family time, but even more now I will try to take time and spend money in ways that help my kids create memories that will stick with them. One of those things we did this year was to get a “mini-quad” for our kids. Frivolous and fun, and our kids love it. Last night we had a decent snow that made the roads nice and slick, so I took my son out and taught him how to do donuts.
Just like his old man, he wanted to have some video proof to show his friends. Makes a geek proud. So, first thing I wanted to do was share it with, right? Geek through and through.
And of course, after seeing the video, he was not happy how dark it was, so we had to take another video the next morning
That is so cool!
The memories is what they will remember us by!
I remember my Grandmother saving her S&H Green Stamps for me to glue into her books. And I LOVE that memory of her
