Tahoe
Animals are so fun to photograph, but I think dogs tend to take the cake when it comes to expressions. Tahoe here was so ready to play while the rest of us were busy relaxing. Dogs just seem to be able to give you that look that can have so many meanings. There’s a new baby in the house, and I think he feels like he doesn’t get enough attention these days.
Don’t worry, he eventually got to chase a ball and work out his energy. His people still love him.

Such a face! I just love pet photography, especially labs-their eyes are so expressive. Fitting that you chose the week of the Westminster Dog Show to post this. The brown colored fur makes it so much easier to see their eyes. My labs are black, and properly exposing their eyes is sometimes a bit tricky. Give Tahoe a pat on the head for me!
I wish I could take credit for the timing on posting, they just happened to come up in my efforts to organize my photos. Tahoe approves of your comments, and I’ll pass along the pat
So cute ! How old is Tahoe ?
We have a yellow lab and she’ll be 3 in May……They are such great dogs !
Marie – I think he is about 3 as well. He is actually my brother-in-law’s dog, so i am not sure. This was taken when we visited late last year. I do really like labs though; they are fun dogs.
