Stadium Panoramic

Rice Eccles Stadium
I get a lot of flack for taking photos at University of Utah games, being that I am a BYU grad. I happen to have a friend that is able to get me on the sidelines of the games though, so what photog in their right mind would turn down sideline passes.
The only problem is that I cannot generally share my sideline photos as part of the media agreement with the university.
I took this panoramic photo with a borrowed EF-S 10-22 lens, which I had though would get the entire stadium in one shot. This is one situation where you would have to have a full frame sensor with an ultra-wide lens to get it all.
Because of the lens shape, this didn’t end up being one of my best panoramics once it was all stitched together. I really should have taken a series of vertical shots with a slightly longer lens to get a better stitched panoramic. That said, I was fairly happy with the results
