Pumping Up The Band
On the recent concert where I was positioned back stage to capture the big finale with the audience in the background, I happened to be in the right place to catch this shot. Donny jumped on the piano and charged up the band for the big finish to the song.
This was actually [...]

Spotlights of Many Colors
With less than one week before I leave to travel with the Osmonds for a photo project, I figured I’d get back to the archives and post some concert shots over the next few days. Looking forward to a very fun 3 weeks on tour and hopefully capturing some great shots for [...]

I know I tend to get a lot of shots with the spotlight isolating the artist, but to me these are some of the most interesting. Photography is all about capturing light, and the concert atmosphere, with the smoke flowing to be illuminated by the spotlight beam, is the perfect situation to see the shape [...]

Donny’s concerts are a bit more intimate with the audience than most. He’s not afraid to interact with the audience. With that interaction you open the doors to all kinds of possibilities, good and bad. Obviously someone said something that hit the funny bone here.

I thought I’d go back to some of my old “classics” that some fans have seen in print elsewhere. I can’t publish everything, but I figure a few here and there will be ok.
This photo was taken during the 2004 UK Summer Nights tour and was later published in my book as well as [...]

Donny Osmond in Concert
I guess Donny still likes purple, eh? Hehe.
Most often when I am shooting a concert obviously I get as close as possible. The point is to get the best possible shots, and shots that are difficult for most people to get. That said, at times I like to step back a bit [...]
