Thanks for the tips, the article was a good read.  Of course I'm still totally confused, however will digest and try to take on board some of your tips.  Unfortunately at concerts I always manage to get my camera confiscated (Fuji Finepix S7000) as the staff think it's a professional camera, although I do assure them that I'm not a professional photographer (lol), still off it goes, so I've resorted to using my Casio digital for concert pics.  Will try and get myself on a Photography course.

I will definatley try using a lower ISO, i never realised noise had anything to do with the quality of the picture.
