The Video Is Coming

Yep, that video project that has been being created over the last few months is finally in the “rough cut” stage. My friend Jarond has been putting in many sleepless nights and long days getting the footage together, edited and ready to present for early review.

Today is the big day and he is a nervous wreck. Ok, maybe not that bad, but it is always tough when you put in all the effort and finally get to the point when you present it to those that make the final decisions. Donny will be viewing it today, recording some voice overs and giving Jarond his feedback. Time is getting short too before we put it into production in anticipation of shipping for the holidays. Hope he likes what he sees

I have just started watching the DVD this morning and will finish up a bit later. What I have seen so far is both unique and very entertaining. I really think the fans are going to love it.

Unique & entertaining is a good thing! LOL I’m really looking forward to this DVD. Hope it will be the first of many over the years!

Ali - yes, as in stay tuned at Donny.com for a presale announcement with shipping prior to Christmas. (no guarantees with pre-Christmas delivery, but possibly).

LynnAussie/Linda T - keep in mind that, at least this project, is not just about the LV time. Clips from that weekend will be included, but it will also include footage from other US and UK dates.

I have no idea at this point if there will be a dedicated Las Vegas GT dedicated DVD as well. There has been interest expressed, so who knows, it might be possible.

Linda - I am not sure if there will be a full DVD dedicated to the birthday fan gathering or not; so that is a firm non-commitment

Barbie - Great seeing you as well. It was a pleasant surprise as I had no idea you would be there.

Pam - the hope is to have the pre-sale start shortly and have them shipping the week before Christmas. This does mean that most people in the US will get them for Christmas but very likely they will not make it to the UK by Christmas. Sorry, but just not possible with shipping times, particularly this time of year.

Latest word is that there will need to be more editing and therefore it is not going to be out by Christmas. Sorry if I had any hopes up. Hopefully it isn’t too much of a delay, but better late and better than early and not as good as it can be, right?!

Karyn - Though Simon is in fact in the photo on this post, he wasn’t involved in the making of this particular video. What you see pictured above is Simon and Jarond getting the video of Dillon prepped to show at the Las Vegas birthday event.
